Your engine depends on gaskets and seals to keep oil and coolant where they belong, and on timing parts to keep everything moving in step. We repair engines from small leaks up to major internal work, and we'll tell you honestly when a repair is worth it and when it isn't.
Signs it's time
- Oil or coolant leaking under the vehicle
- Ticking, knocking or rattling from the engine
- Blue or white smoke from the exhaust
- Losing oil or coolant between top-ups
- Overheating, misfires or loss of power
What we do
- Find the real cause first, with compression and leak-down tests when needed
- Valve cover, oil pan, intake and head gaskets
- Timing belts, chains, tensioners and water pumps
- Engine mounts, sensors and seals
- Larger internal engine repairs
Timing belts have a replacement interval in your owner's manual. On many engines a broken belt bends the valves. Replacing it on time costs a lot less than the repair afterwards.
