Tires are the only part of your vehicle that touches the road. Good tread is what lets you steer, brake and grip on snow and ice. We sell new tires and do seasonal changeovers, so you leave ready for the road.
Signs it's time
- Tread is down near the wear bars, or under about 4/32" (3 mm) for winter driving
- Cracks, bulges or cords showing on a sidewall
- A tire keeps losing air
- Vibration at highway speed
- Temperatures are dropping toward 7°C — time to put the winters on
What we do
- New tires for cars, SUVs and pickups
- Seasonal changeovers between summer, all-season and winter tires
- Mounting and balancing
- Flat repair, when the hole is in the tread and safe to fix
- Set tire pressures to spec
Below about 7°C, all-season rubber gets hard and loses grip. Winter tires (the ones with the mountain-and-snowflake symbol) stay soft in the cold. Book your changeover early — the week of the first snowfall is the busiest of the year.
